New rendering from the latest Z Magazine Vol. 4
I like it. The 350Z is one of those cars that will probably make designeers think, 'What the hell can we do to this car to make it look even betetr but not ruin it????'
I love it except for the tail lights....Exactly what I wanted to do to my Z...Make the rear and front fenders wider, put eyelids on basically make the Z look more aggressive instead of happy as it looks stock.....I wont be buying the first year though too many memories of the 03 models.....Ill have fun with my 05 then probably in 09 Summer Illl spring for the Z34.

On a final note, it's not like people ever really complained about the 350z's looks. It looks sharp so it's best that they just sharpen it up some more rather than get too radical. I think it's AWESOME. If the interior is nice enough then forget about the G37 and sign me up now.
So seems like they are goin with the 3.7 platform. Besides that, the car renderings look like someone trying to take a civic bubble from the 90's and add a crazy body kit to it. I hope they really follow the contours of the Z now, it just looks so good
. And maybe add some design characteristics of the GT-R. But mainly, keep it clean and sexy.. no crazy taillights or body kits.

Flipping through the front pages and then viola, came across this latest rendering.
Looks like Z34 will be officially announced in Jan. of 2008 as 370Z
The magazine also did a comparison between Cayman S and Nismo 350Z.
Around Tsukuba Circuit time attack, Cayman S:1'08.92 and Nismo Z:1'06.663

If you take the bumper and roof line of th Z, mix in the rear of the altima coupe, throw on the hood of the miata. and the fenders of the RX-8 you have the picture before you. I will not say I don't like it because I happen to like all the cars mentioned, but I am not sure they fit together well.

I like the way the rear window cuts into the body. And the headlights seem like a fair evolution.
The hood bump is hideous, though, and there's a little too much action behind the front wheels.
A good sketch overall.
