Bah, we'll see whats really happening at the Tokyo Auto Show and next years International Auto Shows. Me, Im waiting for NYIAS next year to see the big stuff, they're always there.

Yeah, even "official" info. ain't official until the car's pretty close to production. I know we're not talking about a completely new model here, but remember how long GM has gone back and forth on the build-it-or-not Camaro? Even now, reports still are that they are struggling with CAFE restrictions, and the business case for the car, since Ford (Mustang) and Dodge (Challenger) are beating them to the punch in the same segment.

And remember how Honda "officially" announced that they were gonna build a full size p/u truck w/sourced V-8 engines from GM? Ladies and gentlemen, we give you the mid-sized, V-6 Ridgeline!

Point is, it's fun to talk about and all, but neither us nor the media knows much of anything for sure about the '09--but let those educated guesses keep on comin'.
