Read the article about this "shortened Z" at the end of the OKZCC newsletter. This is probably a Toyota test mule in Z clothing.

Let's see Renault owns part of Nissan. Part of the decision making. Hmmm, if they wanted a v8 in the car I think they would of put it in when it came back. Anyways, Renault probably won't say yes to a v8. Make it the V6 a 4.2L NA. If you want turbo power put it on your self or buy A NISSAN GTR. Nuff said. Oh, by the way, they are just called Z's now. No 350z, 400z just Z's

This is true. I was talking to one of the top guys at a Nissan dealership, and he said Nissan is just calling the "350z", the Z coupe or Z convertible. This eliminates the connection between the motor and name in the future. So, its just the year and then Z followed.

the license plate on that Z belongs to Nissan. It was on the GT-R before. So I doubt it's Toyota's car but i could be wrong
