Default Dear Nissan, in the next redesigned Z, we want to see...

1. Less weight! No more than 3000lb for the base model!

2. An optional targa top for the coupe!

3. Refine the interior some more, put some more aluminum trim and use better quality.

4. Keep the hard lines of the exterior! Don't make it look like a Porsche with the circular headlights we've seen in the conceptual drawings! Yuck!

Add your suggestions....

Oh yea, that'd be nice, but enough with the name changing, next car, just name it Z. It makes it look like the 350 is outdated, but it wont be, but when people see a 350 coming up and their in their "370z" the'll be like hey look here comes an outdated 350 (which would **** me off ) , when it should be hey look here comes a fellow Z owner. I know i dont call mine a 350z everytime i mention it to people, i just say "My Z."

No optional brembo brake package. Make it standard for all. Its a godamn sports car. Make it weigh 3000 lbs. Keep the new 3.7 HR engine. Better stock radio.. thats about it.

? I like the Z's door handles. I wouldnt want it to look liek every other cars door handles (G35). In fact, the Z's door handles are one of a kind.

1. ~3000 lb. curb weight
2. 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution
3. Torsen (or equivalent) LSD

that's all

Whatever engine they use in the GTR, the N/A version will be in the next Z. And as for the monikor, I'm pretty sure they'll drop the numbers and call it just Z. Infiniti is doing it with their G class already. Even though technically it's G37, all the advertisements and brochures, etc. will be "The New G" or "New G Coupe". I'll be surprised if they keep the numbers.

I agree, base model should also get the VDC. And the weight seriously needs to come down.

I never liked the door handles either, kinda tacky in my opinion. Something sleeker and more integrated me thinks.

Standard Brembo will make it too expensive. Keep it optional for the MILFs who want the convertible without going through a set of pads within the first year.

And pretty please, TARGA TOP!!!

Oh and,
1. Auto headlights!!! WTF why doesn't the Z have this already. Add foglights while you're at it please.
2. Push start ignition!!!
3. Bluetooth capability.

Nissan is ahead of you with Bluetooth... it's on the '07 Z's.

Drop the numbers before the Z... 370 just sounds wierd, as would anything else. Z sounds just right.

Get some better seats, like the Recaros found in the Evo IX.

Better quality paint.

Brembos as an option on ALL models (since most performance minded people don't want all the extra crap found on the GT).

Better looking steering wheel.

Stiffer clutch feel found on the '03 Z's.

Black headlight housings.
