my buddy has a 1950 jaguar xk120 4 spd. It has a hydralic clutch too. It is the stiffest clutch i have ever driven, even stiffer than the 5.0 mustang!! Hydralics dont always make it easier. Hydralics require less adjustment than cable clutches. That is why cars have hydralic cluthes, even back in 1950!! Cables stretch over time and wear out, and have poor pedal feel over time.

what year is your Z? The clutch on the 05 to 08 were designed for "girls" Older Z cars had really stiffer clutches. So if yours is newer Z car, dont talk. My girl couldnt even get my Z out of the parking garage.

yeah, you have an 05. That car doesnt even have a real clutch. the 03-04 had heavier pressure plates and hydralics, total different set up than the new Z's. Drive some of those in traffic for a while and then talk to me about easy. I driven 05 nad 07 Z's. Mine is an 04, and i can tell you that the clutch on mine is about 5 times stiffer than the one on your car and the new z cars. Just in case you didnt know, some people are complaining about the older 350Z's, not the softer mushier new ones.

You guys complaining need to get your boy pants on, quite whinning, & go practice.

I'm coming up on 67 this year and have zippo issues with the clutch. It is a clutch; they are all slightly different.

I hear that. My old man is 68 and he doesn't have any trouble driving my Z. Hell, I love the feel of the clutch in mine. It's balanced to my liking.

Some mornings when I'm dead tired driving to work I mess up my shifts. Other than that its fine. Well actually come to think of it I always have to really shove it into 5th harder than any other gear. Why is that?

My wife has no problems with the clutch at all. She's 64 years old, 5' tall, and weighs 100 #.
