Default Quick Question about Prices

Will the 350z prices drop once the 370z is released or do you think they might drop a little bit but stay relatively stable?

Used ones? I wouldn't count on their prices dropping much faster than usual (which is not that slow anyways)

New 08 base ones... so far I've been seeing people getting them at very good prices $25k otd, $26k otd, etc...All the dealers around here won't even smile when you say for example, $24,500+taxes...? Even if you're paying all cash

No. People shopping for a 350Z (used) cannot afford a 370Z. Demand remains the same.

I think we have seen some pretty significant devaluation of all
vehicles in the last 12 months. I would not expect another significant
slide out of our 350s after the 370z is dropped. I would expect big
premiums on the 370 upon release and reasonable deals on unsold
350 models.

Dang I feel ripped off now, I just took delivery on my 08 Base model this morning, for 27,000. and 29,xxx.xx out the door

Is there any difference in prices in Dallas Texas, and Cali?? Does Cost of Living, or local economy have to do with the prices?

There's no way dealers are going to get over MSRP for the 370Z. Not in this market today

Personally the economy stuff in my opinion is all crap...I tried talking down to the dealers that were asking like $29k for the base ones and they told me that I could leave since "prices, the economy, gas," etc aren't going to keep people from getting Zs...The scary thing is that they said Z sales are actually going up, as well as prices (one reason being the cost to ship them)...You could've definitely gotten a better deal, but oh well done can never be undone so just enjoy it!

Update: I got a couple down to $24.5k...Can't wait till November!

Maybe Z sales are going up because they are more "affordable" sportscars that people will turn to when their incomes decrease (in lieu of a corvette, bmw, etc)?

Yeah that does sound like horse doodoo considering the car business is a buyers market right now and nothing is getting sold. Hopefully the few new 07's that dealers have dont get sold and are forced to be dropped in price dramatically once the 370's hit the showrooms

by premium maybe I should have been more specific - let's say MSRP.

^^ They don't have the prices listed on their websites, you just need to call them and talk with the "internet sales manager"...They get the best prices...Just bs them, like tell them that xyz down the street is offering one for $25k, can you beat it..
