How many of you are trading your current z for a 370z?

[QUOTE=Manjot;6440266]Well, there's nothing that can hurt you except maybe the following things (if they apply): Gas cost, insurance cost, size of car if you're tall.

How does Gas cost apply? It gets 1mpg better or something I thought haha so maybe thats a ''bonus'' on trading up??

Not all first year models have problems. My friend has a 05 and everyone on this board was like it has too many problems, tires are bad, bad tranny, etc. yet his is still running flawless. It just depends upon the person. But not buying until the bugs are fixed is a thing to consider.

i have my 08 , there's no way i trade it in for a 370Z....it's not even a step up....
i guess i will drive my 08Z for the next 5 yrs or so...and after that, i might get a GTR, if i have the money ..lol

I don't know about that...
I love my '03. It was built in May 2003. The front alignment is the only issue I've had. I can live with that.
Frankly, I just don't like the new styling. I don't see it as an 'improvement'.
It just doesn't' effect me the same as I was affected when I saw the 350 for the first time. I guess it's just a personal thing.
I'm afraid Nissan is going down the same road it went 30 years ago. The 240Z was awesome and the subsequent generations went down hill.
The 300ZX was an exception. It was an awesome car, but Nissan priced it out of its' market.
Good luck, Nissan.... .

The 370Z is FUGLY!!!! The Nismo Z is by far the best Z ever made! Why would I want to trade a good looking Z for a Mitsubishi Eclipse look alike? Nissan vs Me ------------>

I too am not a huge fan of the 370Z. Though I dont hate it, like others have said, it doesnt move me the way the 350Z did when i first laid eyes on her. The 370Z IS a step up from the 350, albeit not by much IMHO. If Im frugal and love driving the 370Z after a few test drives, I might buy one. Though, being single, 30, and no kids Im thinking a LARGER step UP, say to Corvette. But we'll see.

I not a huge fan of the 370z either. Although, it will be noticeably faster, better built, has a major improvement in the interior, and smaller car overall, it's just not good enough to trade in. I will have to wait till the "facelift". I don't really need another car or a new one, for the most part. I'll just sit back and watch what enthusiasts do to it, as far as modding is concerned. I can't wait to see how it does in drag races with other cars and what it does with a twin turbo kit.

i am honestly starting to like the 370z alot now, i guess if i gave it some time the looks of the car will grow, at first i never really did love the looks of the car
always thought it was a mess and didnt flow when looking from the front to the back or vice versa.
i would go for the 370z if i had the money, but i am happy with the 350z as long it takes me from point a to point b
