370Z Pricing...?
I would assume no more than a $1K increase than a comparably equipped 350Z...
They can't afford to make it any more expensive.
I remember hearing in the past that it was going more "upscale" and was going to be more expensive. Sounds like a lot of cr@p to me. The Z is not an upscale sports car. It's meant to be a good entry-level ~$35K sports car. Especially now that Nissan has the GT-R.
Nissan had 2 choices. They could get back to the Z basics, or go upscale and more expensive. Sounds like they wisely chose the basics... smaller, lighter... and based on limited information, the high-end options aren't rumored to be there... DCT tranny, adjustable suspension, 4WS, etc.
Thank goodness.

The "afford" statement was just as much about external factors (economy, competition, etc.) than internal line-up factors.
Bottom line, the 370Z has very little additional value over the 350Z to justify a price increase. A bigger engine, lighter chassis, some minimally upgraded materials, but that's about it. Sure it will be faster than the 350Z, but the competition has gotten faster. Forget looking just at Nissan. Looks at all cars from all makes - the competition - and look what $35K will buy these days in terms of value and performance.
The 370Z will not be much more expensive than the current 350Z.
Hi guys this is my first post and I am wanting a 370Z bad! I was reading else where on this forum somewhere about all Nissan's 2009 lineup is going to be cheaper than the current lineup. With that in mind an entry level 350Z can go for 28k or so now so if what people are saying is true about the 370Z being less than the 350Z then think of an entry level equipped being under 28k? This is all pure speculation really but just info I picked up on here.
