I didn't see a thread dedicated to pricing information. I have never owned a Nissan, and don't really know what price range the current 350 has, so what are your best guesses for the bottom line to top of the line 370? I am also very interested in the new V8 Camaro which tops out at around $36k.
+1, Word...
But maybe the guys that work at nissan on board can hook us up with details!

Unlikely for two reasons. One, marketing is most likely fiddling with packaging and pricing at this point. Second, anyone with inside information will have signed a confidentiality agreement. Nissan has been pretty successful in keeping information under wraps, particularly with products like the GT-R and 370Z.

Um...
Then why do the employees of Nissan post up the trimming packages, colors, etc... on this forum? lol...
W/E! I just want the 370z to be out right now!!!!

There's a huge difference between working for Nissan and working for a Nissan dealership.
Did the 350Z sell for over MSRP when it first came out?
Oh yeah...many dealers were jacking the prices up by $5K. There was a great deal of anticipation because there was no current Z at the time. Orders began in January of '02 and cars started arriving late August. I doubt many dealers will have the stones to pull that $hit this time. With the current economy, tighter financing standards and competition from other cars, they should be happy to get MSRP. I can see huge discounts by next summer.

Yeah that's exactly what's going on with the new Camaro. Some dealers are asking $5k and more for the first orders. And I agree 100% with your sentiments regarding the economy and credit crunch.

Chevy dealers won't get away with that crap for very long...not when you can buy a brand new Vette for under $40K right now. A loaded 2SS Camaro with 422 HP is about $38K....a great value. no doubt.....but mark it up a few grand and it's MORE than the discounted Vette.
The 300HP V6 base Camaro starts at $23K...also a great value....but GM is planning to sell 100,000 of these every year.....only those with more money than brains will pay over sticker (or even MSRP) for such a mass produced car.
As a side note, I finally saw a new Camaro in person yesterday at the Barrett-Jackson auction. STUNNING. Muscular, wide, mean and clean....pictures do not do this beast justice at all. I was floored...I really didn't expect to like it that much.....I couldn't stop looking at it.
I hope the same is true of the new 370Z when I see it in LA next month.

Yes, some dealership was charging more since they had to order the car. But if they do that now, the car will just be sitting at the parking lot. It's not like a limited production car, so supply will be more than demand.
