Here's what the $30-40K 370Z will have:

3.7L V6
RWD
2 seats only
HIDs
LED Tails
18" wheels standard
6 spd manual/7 spd auto
Dual exhaust

Here's what everybody dreams the 370Z will have but will never happen:

Twin turbo
Carbon fiber roof
Twin clutch transmission a la GTR
Hardtop convertible

Now that Nissan has its halo car in the GT-R available in the states, the 370Z is still basically a 350Z with more power and less weight.
Maybe 5 yrs from now the Nismo 370Z version will have dual clutch but probably not now. It just does not make economic sense.

OK sorry guys to mislead anybody with this post, I was passing on info from someone that was obviously given false info.
The 370Z was recently tested by one of the major car mags in a "short take" and they were told no GT-R dual clutch, but the 7AT

The mag guys were happy with that as they didn't exactly like the GT-R's dual clutch and they've heard of the problems and warranty voiding too.
