That's where the aftermarket comes in, especially since many car mod magazines have been folding and need a new injection of blood.

Out of the box, the HR is better than a DE. But the HR falls on it's face compared to a DE when you start modding it beyond simple boltons.

The DE has been around longer and has superior aftermarket support. Heck, they're pushing over 1,000whp out of FI DE's now (SP, Intense, and Injected). Go to the shop-build forum to see numerous threads. HR's are no where close to the DE, and that's why HR's aren't being built to big WHP like DE's.

The aftermarket has basically forgotten about the HR, or is just not interested in the HR. And that's why the HR is getting left behind.
Thank you so much for your wisdom!
I've just seen the light!
Who wants to take my HR of my hands?
I only make 504 WHP at 10.2 PSI, Geez that sucks!
What was I thinking? Thank goodness for gothchick, our savior!
Where can I buy a DE? Please some one sell me theirs

[QUOTE]Tell ya what sport... ******** walks and verifiable numbers talk. Go get some "superior" numbers for your little HR or STFU. According to the numbers - The DE owns the HR right now. Period. Lol~ :-)/QUOTE]

wow. do you not understand english well? How do you consistently fail to comprehend facts & graphs? HR>DE . Just ask Nissan, thats why THEY did it. No aftermarket support you say? Are you not paying attention? ASK A.H. what his automatic does. Jesus man, your DNA is why our education system is forced to cater to the LCD. Please STFU and enjoy what you got. don't hate, congratulate and appreciate.

Lol~ Sorry your little feelings got hurt. Deal with it. :-)

Still waiting on those "superior" HR numbers... Anybody?? Yeah, that's what I thought, there aren't any... I luv how you HR weenies squirm and dodge with no verifiable numbers to backup anything you say about your supposed HR greatness.

The real deal is DE>HR. And we got the verifiable DE numbers to back it up. The DE kills the HR. Lol~ :-)

I just don't they think they want to waste their thought process on this. It's a stupid argument, because I've seen the numbers from bolt-on HRs, and they crush what bolt-on and built Zs can do. Get over it, we don't have the best motor. If you've been missing the threads with 320WHP dynos on HRs that have about the same mods as I do...that's your problem. No one's going to point out the obvious for you, because you'll still deny it.

Yeah, uh...consider the amount of money and the complexity of work sank into that car, and consider the amount of money A.H. sank into his for SIMPLE bolt-ons. The difference is many thousands, for what...a 15WHP difference? The dollar to power ratio is totally off. Sorry. DE still loses.

Let it go. If HR owners choose to get that aggressive with their NA builds, they'll end up taking an even more massive sh*t all over DEs. Just stop.

The guy never posted a dyno or slip? Hahahaha. FAIL!

Sigh, now we're back at NA builds now, LOL, ok you MUST be trolling! Touché troll, touché, you got me this time.

But one more, just in case you're not, for power to dollar ratio, HR hands down. Idk know many people that would spend grands and all that trouble just to get 15whp more than a bolt on HR. Yeah that DE is making more hp than any HR, but how much time and money was put into it? Isn't worth IMO.

So final thoughts: DE is a great engine because of the massive aftermarket support. This engine has gone far and beyond, we have seem what can be done with it and the limits it can be pushed to.

HR is equally a great engine because it improved what the DE was lacking; it has stronger internals, better response to bolt ons, etc. But we are still in the tinkering stages of this engine, no one has pushed it to the limits yet, so who knows what's in store.

With all that said, I am done with his arguement, have a nice day gotchchick.

As a DE owner, I have no problem admitting the HR is a superior motor. I am glad it is, and such is the way of evolution. Appreciate that Nissan is taking steps forward, instead of trying to justify why the older version of the motor is better (when in fact it isn't.)

Yeah, the HR is so "superior"... Here's a FI DE making 1,033 WHP. The best HR numbers are only HALF of that! Lol~ :-)

Still waiting on those "superior" HR n-u-m-b-e-r-s. Come on HR weenies, help a girl out here. Lol~

DE>HR.

Edit: DE Kills HR.

It's hard to believe you're this blind to the concept other's have expressed here. I don't believe you're stupid, I've seen your posts before. Therefore I'm left with the thought that you're just posting this stuff to get under some of these guy's skin. That's funny to a point, but you've taken it too far in my opinion....to the point that it makes you look sort of... stupid.
