I can imagine at night how distinct the 370Z will look. There will be no mistaking it for any other car. Those boomerangs are going to look cool all lit up.

I have to say that the front looks tacked on and the harsh lines created by the addons ruins the fluidity of the front. It doesn't seem to affect the back to as great of an extent and the sidkirts look fine. I am extremely disappointed that Nissan is cheaping out and not offering 370 owners a full front fascia.

I have a couple of friends that are not car guys at all. So, i figured i would show them the pics of the new 370z but didn't tell them it was a newer model. The first thing to come out their mouth is what is wrong with that car. I then proceded to tell them it was the new 370z. They stated i would rather have a 350 then this car considering looks. Maybe some of you should try the same thing to see the non-bias responses you get. So, far no one likes the car as much as the 350. So, im beginning to think that some of you are trying to like this car.

You know...The majority of the 370 fans can accept if others like it or not. But most non-fans always have to add in some asinine comment. Like we're only fooling ourselves, we cant admit that we hate it or some other nonsense.

Like it or not dude some people do like the new Z. So deal with it

Tho I still have to see it in person 1st. And If all checks out, then I can say I'm a true fan.. By writing a $30-40k+ check for one.

Peace

In the most kind gentle tone I possibly can...

You're not going to change our minds with your statements, unless you're some kind of politician haha. Better yet, please direct all of your criticisms to NNA. Let us know what they think

Well of course some people will like it. Their are people that buy aztecs, woodgrain station wagons, and so on. So, I'm not surprised that some people like it but then again their are some people that have absolutely no taste in cars. I don't totally dislike the car but their are aspects of this car i coud do without. All i'm saying is that a non-bias judgement is usually better than some of your opinions. Of course, some of you will justify the looks and say well it would look better with wheels and a drop. That is called justifying the car. Just about any sports car looks better with aggressive wheels and a drop that is a given. Maybe you guys should post a poll on a non 350z forum to get a better idea of what people like and dislike about the car and if its a successful design. I can tell by the last two comments that you guys are bias to a certain extent " panties in a bunch". You guys act like i dont own a z car and dont want to like this car.

I don't think anyone cares if your friends do or don't like the car. What difference does that make to us? My brother likes it and he does not like the 350Z. He also likes the Alfa 8C, Aston Martin, and so forth. Which have been generally accepted in the automotive community as very fine looking cars. My coworker likes the 370Z better. But who cares? What's the point? So does that mean everyone who thinks the 370Z doesn't look good has bad taste because my brother and coworker like it? Is that the line of logic you are trying to use on us? Oh man, your friends don't like the 370Z so I have bad taste. So where do I go to get my brain changed to alter my taste in cars to fall inline with you and your friends?

OK, let me ask you one serious question. Is there anything that you or I can do to change the design of the 370Z now? The great thing is there are lots of 350Z for sale out there. Actually, there are many other offerings in that segment, so why even fret anymore about it? You can either keep your Z or buy a different car. Problem solved.

We already know you don't like the 370Z, but it feels like a rehash. I'm here to read about Nismo 370Z accessories, not repeats of disliking the 370Z. That's just OT. Please leave those comments on a thread about likes/dislikes.

As for me, I've had my Z since Oct. 2002. An upgrade would be nice. The G37 was the closest, but I want to be able to do some audio upgrades [easily]. I don't plan on going aftermarket with the body stuff, unless it's a painted CF replacement of OEM parts. The NISMO body accessories is probably not the most tasteful, but I don't mind the "factory" look. I'll have to see what my budget is when the time comes...

[EDIT] Oh yes, I definitely appreciate this thread with color photos.

Biased eh? When did I ever question ones taste? You (and most haters)seem to be the only ones doing that.

Is it that hard to understand? What I'm (or most fans are) advocating is.. Hey! You like it..You don't like.. Fine, who cares?

Unlike yourself, I'm not the one that's dissing anyone over what taste they have or trying to sway people toward your way of thinking.

Exactly, that is why I made the "I hate the 370Z" thread. It was kind of a joke that I don't think anyone got. This is getting really old. The 370Z is what it is. No one can change it. There are those here who want information on it and are enthusiastic about the offerings that will be available. I am getting tired of digging through the countless, "I hate the 370Z" posts to get to the meat of the thread. Seriously you guys, what do you expect us to do? Change the design or stop liking it for you?

Anyway, I think the 370Z looks nice in its factory form. I would just get different wheels and lower it. It doesn't seem to need too many body add ons. I have never been the one to like those anyway, just adds weight and usually takes away from the original design.

I am interesting in the Nismo offerings that are mechanical enhancements.

It is just S tune parts people. They came out alot sooner than an actual Nismo produced car.....

I am NOT going to add myself to this "I hate 370Z" debate. My point is that if you really hate something so much, why lurk in the 370Z section or make new threads or posts about it. But since you ask, i'll post some "non 350z forum" comments about the Nissan 370z.

I was wondering the same thing. For those who hate the 370Z why keep posting about it over and over here? It's almost like an obsession. There is still the 350Z forum where you can post. You can even post how much you love the 350Z and hate the 370Z there. Doesn't that make more sense? You might even find more support there.
