I have a 350Z so I'm happy (Daytona Blue so I'm very happy). I take good care of it so it will last until the Z35 comes out. That's my solution to dealing with the 370Z. You don't have to own every version of a car that's released. New Z owners will not know any difference and I think one of the posters here is correct. There are people who like things like Aztecs and Elements and see them as cool. So why not have 370Z lovers, too?

For those who cringe, just remind yourself the 370Z is not a 350Z. It's an entirely different car. It just happens to look similar to benefit from the 350's solid reputation. That is obviously a marketing decision on Nissan's part.

My only fear is that those headlights and tail lights will be carried over to the next generation. Japan has a weird thing for making inanimate objects look animated (hence things like Transformers and other characters that appear in Anime). I think their 370Z designers are big Anime fans.

The last thing we need a is Po-ke-mon Z car but if things keep going the way they are, we just might see one.
