According to this poll over 63% love the new 370Z https://my350z.com/forum/2009-370z/3...-370z-now.html

If you and your non car buddies don't like it, cool. Then go find another thread and cry about it there.

I like the 370Z and I like the NISMO S-Tune products. I want those LMZ5 wheels!

All these people who say it looks better than the 350Z on this site must be blind or have horrible taste according to some here.

Anyone who criticzes the new Z before they get to see it in person and drive it isn't giving it a fair chance. Proof is in the poll my friend. Haters are just in denial.

Here's the Nismo version of Godzilla....very similar. Just as many excess fins, flippers and tacked on crap. Way to ruin a nice design, Nissan.

zsport1: You decided to paste and copy just part of what i wrote to justify your point, interesting. Of course we are z enthusiast being that we are on a z enthusiast site called "my350z". So we will find a reason to like the z no matter what it looks like. At least for a good majority of the people on the site. As far as the exterior the 350z owns the 370z. I'm not a hater believe me. The 370z interior is alot nicer than the 350 and im sure that it will be a better performing car stock for stock. So, im giving the 370z its props that it is due but the exterior is very questionable.

For the people that do like the 370z's exterior what parts do you prefer over the 350.

1. The front headlights......................NO
2. The rear lamps.............................NO
3. The rear fender.............................maybe but have huge flat spots
4. b-pillar back..................................ummm at certain angles looks like a damn hatch back/station wagon

My big question is why do those who say they "hate" the 370Z think anyone cares? I don't care? Do you? Just because they don't like it does that mean those who do should be concerned? I can see it now when I am about to buy one, "oh, wait, some dude on my350Z.com said the 370Z is ugly, I should rethink this even though I think the car is awesome".

marques1, it's cool that you do not like the 370Z. I respect that. But I think you must realize that it is a matter of opinion and everyone has a different one. You are not going to change anyone's mind that likes the car. OK, you don't like the headlights, rear fender, lamps, etc. great. But why should we care? In turn, I don't think you guys who hate the 370Z should care that there are those who truly like the car, perhaps even more than the 350Z. It is just a car. It is designed, has been built and and has already gone into production. Why waste so much bandwidth debating or trying to convince others to agree with your opinion?

I am guessing there are those who were thinking of staying with the Z for their next purchase and are frustrated that Nissan did not come out with something to their liking. But maybe the 370Z will grow on them. I remember when I saw photos of the Maxima I thought to myself, oh lord, what has Nissan done. But on my way to work I noticed a car in the corner of my eye and quickly turned my head to get a better look, it was the new Maxima and it looked good. Different than most other things on the road. It stood out. I have read in some magazines the 370Z is a "looker", the same thing they said about the Maxima. So maybe it may look better in real life. I am looking forward to seeing it in person.

If you have followed Nissan or Datsun or whatever, you know they have ***** when they design something. And sometimes it pays off. We just have to wait and see.

1. The front headlights......................I like them the same. They both work well with the body style. I LOVE the way they sit flat and wrap the front. From the top down, it's very S2000, but far more aggressive.

2. The rear lamps.............................YES. They wrap the rear nicely and mimic the headlamps. The 350Z's tails always looked too small from the back for me.

3. The rear fender.............................The rear fenders do have rather large flat spots but it was consistent with the width of the area around the "mouth". The wheel gap exacerbates this and a drop will take care of it.

4. b-pillar back..................................Hell yes. I love the 240 roof line to hatch flow. The 350's lines are too 300ZX for me (humpback).

The 350 is a pretty car. So is the 370Z.

Does this mean the 370Z still does not have true dual exhaust? Nevermind after closer inspection I get it.

So looks like the highest model (ST) with 7at, will be around $41,413.00+, from the scan..
Not sure what ST stand for, but maybe it's S-Tune?

Will you pay over $41k for a S-tune 370z? hard decision..
