Simply stating that 'mag' times are not exactly the best and rarely are they better than what is done at tracks like Atco by the actual owners of the cars in question.

Until Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords does a test drive on the 370Z I will stand behind what I said... the mag times are going to be slower than what we see from drivers like Veetec, Pat Bateman, etc...

I saw a Camaro today on the road, it was an SS. I liked it but my Z looked better

 

REGARDLESS OF THE FACT THAT YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY MADE UP YOUR MIND: 1. Camaro, ups: Muscle car, more hp/torque, ergonomics, cheaper parts/labor. Downs: Poor reliabiliry (ALREADY'S BEEN RECALLED!), less MPG.
2. "Z", ups: Reliability, better handling, better MPG. Downs: More expensive parts/labor(?), ergonomics (two-seater).
What did you end up getting, dude?!

 

Hasn't there been cooling problems with the 370Z? Only difference is, Nissan refuses to resolve the problem & issue a recall.

 

It's only a problem if you track your car. In everyday daily commute it isn't a problem as far as I know.

Muscle car Camaro built to go in a straight line. Besides not being a Transformer.

Z car built to cross the lines, zig zag the lines, corner the lines, hug the lines, be nowhere near the lines, but yet sail straight with ease.

I have an 06 Z and my dad has the camaro RS. The car handles just as good as the z, believe meee. Z is way faster tho, but if the camaro was an SS it'd be a different story. My gosh a corvette handles nearly almost as good as an evo, This was shown in top gear. Where in the world do you get these things "muscles cars cant handle". Maybe the older ones but the new ones are just as capable. Mustang GT even has better handling than the camaro. The challenger is the one that falls behind.

GM is a publicly traded company meaning that the shareholders own GM. Since the slight downfall many people have sold off shares and or lost them due to the bankruptcy.

GM is coming out with a company called NEW GM which is separate from the normally traded GM. Im not to sure about what will happen but im sure you can find all that "information" out somewhere on the net Broken.

The Camaro is WAY TO BIG, it feels it.
For the littel bit of acceleration that an SS has an advantage does not make up for its lack of handling, chincy interior, and poorer fuel and braking.

If you plan on modding it to hell then the SS is the better platform. Though the IRS on it will be just as limiting as the 370..

Gm is NOT going anywhere so that should not even be discussed here...
