Default San Fran Auto Show Pictures of Yellow 370Z

OK, I finally saw the car in person and I will just say this. It is a drastic improvement in every visual way than the 350Z. Before you 350Z lovers bash me, that is my honest opinion. Take it or leave it. I don't care. It looks way better in person than in the photos. There was a 350Z next to the 370Z and the 350Z looks outdated and plane. The interior of the 370Z blows away the 350Z's.

I was there for some time and just listened to the comments people were making. Most did not even know the car was even coming out or what it was at first. Some said it looks like the 240Z, some said the roofline was like the GTR, some digged the rear end, one guy asked me how much I thought it costs, he said it looked like a $60k car. The 370Z has the look of a more upmarket car compared to the 350Z. I walked around the entire autoshow, the Nissan GTR and 370Z were getting the most attention. I was amazed at the different sorts of people gawking over the GTR. Old, young, woman, men, kids. It has clearly made its mark. Great advertising for Nissan.

Most people I know who know nthing about the GTRs performance cant stand the way it looks. I like it though.

Actually, I think it looks better in person but I like the way the 370Z looks much more. I am not sure if people like the looks of the GTR or not but there was a crowd around it with a lot of people taking photos. Perhaps it is the hype.

I will add. Just by listening to people around the car you can tell the 370Z will be a big hit. Wait and see.

nice front shot, you weren't so close so the pic isn't distorted.

Great looking buggy. It will do well.

No reason for a 350 Vs 370 "fight".

Thanks. I wanted to make sure I took proportional photos. I see so many that are distorted. Used my cheapo point and shoot. I wanted to get shots from the rear but the darn Nissan sign was in the way. Will post my SLR photos later. Must scan the negatives.

The car has wheels but no tires! At least that's how it hit me when I first saw the pics. Looks like it's hovering above the floor.

I agree. I saw people still looking at the 350Z and sitting in it. There are still admirers. I mean, I could tell they were really impressed with the 350Z still. But, there were far more around the 370Z.

The thing about the 370Z is that it has very distinct features that sets it apart. At first I thought I would not like the boomerang lights. Now I really appreciate Nissan had the ***** to follow through with them. You will know it is a Z when you see it on the road. And I can imagine how the lights will look at night.

Yeh, I had to darken the photos a little so you could see the true outline of the car. My cheap point and shoot is not so great with lighting. I took some others with my slr that will come out better I am sure. The main thing I wanted to show were the nice proportions of the car. When you see it in person you finally get it.

One thing I noticed was the huge amount of space Nissan left in the fender wells. Good lord, I can imagine what crazy things people are going to do with that. Lowering it and filling those fenders with some nice rubber would make one sinister looking car.

Do they have a 370 people can sit in or just the ropped off one? If all they have is a ropped off one, guess I'll just save the trip and wait for the dealer to get one.

Can't believe they rope it off like it's a concept/prototype or a lambo

I know. They only had one. I asked the lady why it was restricted and she said because that particular car was not for sale or some BS thing like that. I was going to make a special trip to Sacramento to sit in one but the Auto Show was only 20 minutes from my front door and Sacramento is an hour and a half drive. I figured it was not worth it. But I did get a good look at the interior and it does look very nice.

Maybe that is why some people thought it was an expensive car, because it was on some platform with signs saying to keep off.

Stock the 370z doesn't look so great but I bet a nice aftermarket bodykit with rims will set this car off and it will look fantastic. The best thing I like about this car is how much wheel well space they left to put some nice aggressive wheels in there

Ah that one looks like the same one with the NISMO-tipped exhaust.

I can not figure out why Nissan left so much space under the fender wells. Perhaps they are anticipating something, who knows. But regardless, I just couldn't help but imagine what mods will be done to fill em up. This car will have a seriously aggressive stance once it has been lowered and fitted with some serious rubber.
