From being on whole bunch of forums, Evo, Subaru, mazda, S2K, Miata, Fit, to name a few, every time a new generation of the car comes out, people who already bought the current model trashes the new one in any way they can. It's only natural for people to justify their purchase so they feel better about themselves.

I have a question. Why do you guys think anyone cares that you do not like the 370Z? What do you think we are going to do? Change our tastes in cars? Try to convince ourselves that although the new Z is faster, built better, stops quicker, corners better, looks better (subjective), it is inferior to the 350Z? Why waste time posting this dribble over and over and over again? What is the point? We don't care! Try posting this stuff in the 350Z section and let the ones who like it move forward.

I'm not sure about the looks, but the 370 will eat my 05 for lunch (stock vs stock.)
While I like good looking cars, I love good looking times. As far as I can tell the 370's times will look much better than the 350's.
In the 1/4 mile, the 370's power to weight ratio will make prettier times than a 350.
On any track with turns, the shorter wheelbase, better brakes, syncro revmatch, extra grip, etc. will make prettier times than a 350.
Simply put 370>350....
My 350 does have one sexy feature that trumps anything the 370 has to offer though....

BTW I did initially hate it based on the distorted pics but I also said from the getgo it had potential...Check out Moforeynolds Photoshop thread for example. This car will make the open minded forget the 350z soon. There I said it
I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt to the 370- I'm going to listen to popular opinion which says "no wait see it in person" so I'll wait till Nissan Australia bring it over (mid 09
). I don't really care how the car looks, I just hate how everyone who honestly doesn't like it gets flammed for thinking so

It is not the fact that some honestly do not like the 370Z it is the fact that it is stated over and over and over and over and over again. What is the point? Can you kind of see why this could get annoying after a while? Especially when the car is going to hit the dealer showrooms in a month. It can't be altered. You know how people who complain a lot tend get on ones nerves? Especially when it is about something that can NOT be changed? What if I posted repeatedly in the 350Z section how I do not like the cheap interior, the bland front end, etc. over and over and over again? Do you think that would get annoying to some?

To the OP, get a ****ing life. I think the 350 is dated and a bit lame, but I don't go to that section of the board to start a flame war; but I guess I have a life and get laid once in a while. You may want to look into that, it's kinda cool.

Exactly, I also think the 370Z makes the 350Z look dated and a little bland but I don't waste time posting my opinions over and over again on the 350Z forum.
