The mother of all insults
I'm a newb (to this forum anyway) and I certainly don't own a 350Z. I considered getting a 08 350Z but couldn't get past certain shortcomings (dvd-based navigation, no proper glovebox, etc...). I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger though because I'm really liking the 370Z. It offers the kind of interior I'm used to in my G sedan (hard-drive, music box, back up camera) and comes with an exterior that IMO is a lot more masculine and aggressive than any stock 350Z. The 370Z is going to attract a lot of attention from buyers like me who like having all the latest tech options inside the car and still like a little performance for a reasonable price. I'm definitely purchasing a 370Z next year (will post pics for the people who think many of the newbs aren't actually going to buy the car) and look forward to many new members joining this forum who also get the car. I think all the back and forth is funny but like other people have said this happens all the time on car forums when a new model comes out. It happened at Nissanclub.com when the 02 Altima came out (I used to have an 03 V6 SE Altima) and it happened again when the Altima SE-R came out. 6 months from now this forum will be different as people get their hands on the 370Z and start posting about it from an owner's perspective. The 350Z is a great car but CHANGE IS COMING so get used to it...
Humm...when I wear a suit, I generally use my M45X; I reserve my "Z" for more "fun" oriented driving (no suite and tie required).
I think the 370 is a significant improvement, both mechanically and in style, which with many cues from the original 240...to each his own I suppose.
