Shift...the paddles...the right way? I didn't know there was a wrong way: Up and down at every redline.

Default 370z 7sp review

Hey,
i just got back from the dealership right now. I drove a white touring automatic 7speed just like 2 hours ago.. Let me tell you i loved it, VERY fast response times when you do the tiptronic side of it even normal driving very fast.. dealer let me go up to 100 then said let off. Anyway s
id probly put the 0-60 time at 4.6/4.8 for the tiptronic.. its just beauty.. but im going to go buy me a 6speed just because i love clutch and all that beauty of a mT
The new gears feel fine and good im a previous owner of the 2004 z and this car absolutely blows it away..
shifting much smoother
im buying me a 370 by next week.. but of course Base version.. cant afford and dont want extra bag of the touring...
HOPE REVIEW HELPED A LIL and answered your 0-60 time..
anyways car gets alotta looks and is very very fast..
GREAT HANDLING took car around freeway sprial rated at 25mph to go around i took it around it at 80 didnt even screech... just a freaking amazing car
loved it!

Stop calling it Tiptronic. Tiptronic is what I have in my Audi. It's a Porsche trademark for Audis and Porsches. For Nissans it's Manual Mode or "M-Mode".

I wonder how is feels compared to a valve body upgraded AT. If someone that has a VB upgraded Z can test drive one and report back, I would be truely grateful!

I guess your buddy was expecting Ferrari fast type shift. No car but a Ferrari is going to be that fast.

+1 I'd love to know what he considers "fast".
I drove a 7AT yesterday. I own an '05 AT, so it was a pretty interesting comparison. The new car is obviously quite a bit quicker- 45hp more and 2 extra gears. It was snowing, so I had to be careful on the summer Advans. And the shifts were noticeably quicker than my car's tranny.

Well, it's funny you mentioned that....lol. We do have a friend with a 360 Challenge Stradale. It shifts fast. I asked my friend if he was comparing it to that car because that's just not fair. He said it was just slow though...and downshifting was slow too.

But from what we've heard from our friend, with the 360...the GTR shifts way faster than his car.
