Head-to-head pics: 05 350Z vs 370Z
You, ur just an idiot. idk y ur talkin... i say u delete ur account and sell ur Z. lol stop rollin ur eyes, its ok. jus kill ur self.. HAH
Actually, the front seems higher because it IS higher for safety regulations which requires cars to have a certain hood height. That was the main reason for the hood bulge on the 07 350z. Secondly, going by actual tech specs, the 350z is more height. It's one thing to compare stock cars, and it's another to compare cars with modified height not to mention how ever long your car has been sitting on said suspension and has time to settle. Seems like a lot of 350z owners are defense and think their car is better. The same happens every generation as the Z32 crowd did in 2003..... Same song different tune.
The hood bulge on the 07 is b/c the HR sits higher than the DE....Quit talking out of your ***.
I say in the short time I've been here it's gone downhill. The quote above...perfect example. Grow up 350zinla
no argument here. I like the 350z over the 370z but performance wise, 370z is def >> 350z
i mean, its only common sense. Technology develops, we're comparing a 3.7L engine with a 3.5L. Of course the 370z is better in that regard
looks are subjective, so thats a toss up there. So people may not like the 370z in regards to that
lol I was actually thinking about that the other day... the new 3.7L engine in a 350 would make it the best Z car to date. But the performance of the new engine is little more than 'adequate'. Yes it will be on the best engines list again, yes it's got the latest technology, and yes it's more powerful than a HR (for all you 370 fanboys) and still a great engine- don't get me wrong. But definatly not what was hyped up, nor worth the $$ for the conversion.
Maybe a lot of 350z owners just think its ugly and don't really care if it newer. Its just a dissapointment compared to the looks of the 350z. Was really expecting to be wowed like I was with the z32 and z33. This is the first time I did'nt like a new Z and I'm a diehard Z fan.

The debate about styling and performance is a good thing. Nissan has taken the car's characteristics to somewhere near the edge of the envelope once again on a very limited budget in tough economic times. Close enough to evoke passion from both haters and admirers alike. I'd say it's about 50-50 which is exactly where Nissan wants it.
Nissan looked at thoudands of front and rear end designs and elected to go with this one. They knew immediately what the market response was going to be. The 370 is one of the most talked about cars this year and what makes it great is that it evokes passion while being affordable at the same time.
I still haven't decided if I like it or not so my hat's off to the designers. Nissan could have easily taken the easy way out by settling on a "middle of the road, pleasing to everyone" design. They didn't.

By the way, what are you driving? It is obvious you are far and above too amazing of a person to be riding around in a NISSAN!
If I just saw the 370, I'd love it. But compared to the 350, I prefer the 350 from a looks standpoint. For one thing the head & tail lights on the 370 don't flow with the design as they did in the 350.
your obviously a kid.. just move on PLEASE. the forum will be better of without you

Z1NONLY,
A bit off topic.......however, I enjoyed your pictures. Can you tell me what type of digital camera you were using? I am going to check out my local Nissan Dealership and try to take some quality pics. I have a very nice Olympus E-Volt and I want to try and capture the angles of the car.
Thanks!

Man that Platinum Graphic looks sick... with Volk Phantom Formula Silver wheels. Since I couldn't PS the wheels on the car, the best I could do was blackout the wheel lip.
what to get with the Volk PFS color combination: Brilliant Silver or Platinum Graphite.

In seeing them side by side I prefer the looks of the 350. The 370 does look more aggressive though but I think the 350 will age better. The 370 looks more "trendy". Most of the time the newest models immediately make the previous one look dated but it doesn't seem so in this case I think the 350 still looks good.
That said in terms of performance the 370 appears to be a decent step ahead of the 350 which I suppose makes up for any deficiencies in the looks department.
