The 370Z is GD ugly but I said the same thing about the Hood hump on the 07-08 and it grew on me eventualy. Does anyone else share the same thoughts I do? Do you think the new style will grow on you?

Yes, I think it looks much better than the Z33, and will buy one when prices come down in a month or two.

 

The looks of the 370 grew on me the first time I saw it in person...I still hate the hood hump. LOL

 

same here, i first hated it, but i saw it in person in pearl white and fell in love with it.. im also waiting a month or 2 till i get me one in ppw...

If you need a car to "grow on you" or you have to convince yourself that it's good looking, then you might want to reconsider purchasing it - this goes for any car. I instantly loved the Z33, I just can't say the same about the Z34.

I liked the hood hump on the 07 from the start. I don't like the enormous front end of the 370z. It's not gonna grow on me. I have to like it from the start. Thanks!!!!!

 

Some will, but people still hate the hood hump to this day. It's a bit different though, the hood hump is such a minor piece of styling that no one picks up on it (who isn't a Z-person), I still have to explain to people that there really are Z's with diff bonnets on the road.

People have a problem with some, most or all of the 370's styling, it's not just a buldge here it's the whole car, so you might not expect a "come around to it" success rate as high as the hoods.

 

Ugh, don't remind me. With the 07 Z everything seemed fine at first, but then people started pointing at me and laughing saying things like "there goes the guy with the the lump on his hood" or "oh look it's lump boy". I just got sick of it and they kept making fun of me. For the first year it was annoying but eventually the criticism has stopped. I don't think you would get the same kind with the 370z now that the same hood style is found on the 07 and 08 350's.
