Really?? That's even gheyer!
So basically if you are a good driver you turn it off. If you are a lazy driver or bought a $40,000 sports car and you don't know how to rev match, you turn it on!!!

Give it a rest

The rev match will be PERFECT... EVERYTIME...which is a consistency I doubt you could duplicate. Given the complexities of a down hill canyon run its one less thing you have to think about and can save that focus for something else...say your line under braking...

Im sure you never leave the house without your driving shoes on but for the rest of the world the CHOICE to have the car PERFECTLY revmatch EVERYTIME is something thats a nice touch

For the aspiring rally drivers like yourself the switch is up and to the right of the shifter to turn the EVIL feature off

I want to see how well the rev matching really works. Does anyone know if it blips when you actually throw the shifter into gear, or when you let out the clutch? If it does blip when you shift the lever, what happens if you DONT let off the clutch? I gotta try all this out if I get a chance.

from a video i saw on youtube the rev match feature seems to work fantastically. i believe the system comes into affect as soon as you shift into the gear, and it will hold it there for a few seconds. Therefore you have a lot of time to let the clutch out. but i don't know what happens after the few seconds. i believe the system keeps the rev matches with the speed, and if you leave the clutch out its most likely the rpms will drop with speed.

Don't even have to worry about down-shifting anymore, kind of fool proof. Need to test drive one of these.

There is Rev match on downshift on automatic and I believe its alot faster than the 6spd. I had a chance to try both out at Nissan Training facility and it is byfar superior than ever before. Also nice thing with the auto is no maintenance on the fluid.
