I know exactly what they'll say.

"I love the car. Big improvement over the 350z. Looks aren't the greatest, but the performance is notably better."

I just drove one yesterday for the first time and with a couple new body kits coming out Im sold! Its smoother and faster. More hatch room cuz they moved the strut bar closer to the seats.

How in the world, would anyone know what you really want? Only you can answer that one.

Every opinion will be just that...An opinion. Go and test drive one, to see for yourself if it's for you.

put it this way it would take some amount of money to get a 350 to run and handle like a 370Z does out of the box...it is the best dollar for dollar bang for the buck car that is excellent on so many areas... it WILL be a highly modded car in a short time it simply is a better platform than the 350 ever was.

Getting my DE motor to the 370's HP numbers would cost a lot of money to do NA.

However, I think my Z's simple upgrades; LSD, springs, shocks, sways, lightweight wheels and sticky tires.....

....errrr

Nevermind.

Getting the 350's handling up to par cost's a lot too.

(And I still have 11.7" brakes.)

370 > 350

For the price of a 370z you can buy a used 350z build it and turbo it. 400whp>270whp.

i think it will take me few more months to get use to 370Z's, ... i prefer 350Z any day of the week, as they look much better! and its more fun cause there are many variety of kits available so each has his own look matching his taste, but as performance, ... even though 370z has better parts as they are newer i woudnt trade my 350z for the 370z. 350z ROCKS

I have driven a SC Z and a TT Z.

The SC Z had plenty of power but it was like an on/off switch. Fine for the drag strip but a PITA on a track with turns.

The TT Z had plenty of power and was very smooth -almost perfect. (Well, it had more power then traction), but IIRC, the APS kit was 10k + install / tune.

And then you have to figure the cost benefit that comes with the 370's (new car) warranty. (Something a used, FI 350 won't have.)

I drove the MT with the syncro match tech.. It def will be a sick platform to build upon. Intense Power is selling their G35 for a 370z project car..

If you put your car on that same dyno that gave the 370 250 HP, I doubt your car would get 250.

That dyno was crazy low.

The 370 will put a lot more than 250 HP to the ground.

And, BTW, I only spent $45 on an "air hog" air filter.

Here is my dyno, just a few moments after the 03 6MT before me put down the normal 234.7HP.

Just about spot on save for the looks. I love the look of my old 350 but the 370 is hands down the better looking car to me. Sexier proportions all around and a more proper design within the context of the Z lineage.

No complaints from me.
