It all depends on preference. I think NISSAN pretty much took cues from the good'ol 1970's 240Z and applied it to the new 370Z. Just look @ the A-pillar, roof angle/shape and the rear quarter-panel/side windows, it speaks out 240Z, imo. Looks good, but i'm still trying to get used to the boomerang style headlights and tail lights. Plus, the rear wiper is deleted.

I understand traditions, history blah blah blah as reasons but why did they go back to the 240z for styling cues, why did they redesign a 40 year old car? It's like a production model replica with a few differences (not inc mechanics obviously). They only people that will get it is Z enthusiasts. Other people might think it's cheap and lazy to "copy" an old car instead of designing a new car..

When you buy a car, who are you buying it for? Just sayin'.

must be a world of Z enthusiasts out there because I get tons of comments from people who really like the car.

I kind of think its the opposite of what you said. Its the Z enthusiasts who argue and debate every styling cue because we all know the cars and love them so much. for the rest of those people they just like it or don't but don't get too bogged down in the details.

I think you're right. Most of the people who compliment my 350...next ask me what kind of car it is. They don't have a clue.

The 370 has grown on me but I think the yellow pic is very flattering for the car. It doesn't appeal to me as much in person. I don't see starting over on payments as being worth the trade at this point. Maybe when a newer and even better than better than the 350Z ____Z comes out, I'll be interested.

This is a great pic but I think it's more of a smoke and mirrors advertisement. After staring at it in the flyer, the car grows on you... but then you see it in person.

To me this pic isn't that flattering to the 370Z. It looks ok in this picture but it looks much better in person.

Waiting for the next generation Z is my strategy, too. I'm plenty happy with my 350.

The new colors available for the 370 make them look like toys in my opinion. They are too plain if that's possible for a solid color. Of course, black, white, and silver are the old stand-by neutrals so they don't count. They aren't really colors anyway.
