Both cars are sexy as hell IMO. There is one cat I've seen around town that has a G37 dropped with an aftermarket exhaust(not sure what brand cause I've never seen it parked), shaved Infiniti badges and added the JDM badges. It looks and sounds badass! But I will forever be in love with the Z's as I have owned a 300ZXtt, and two 350's(03 and 06). I have driven the 370Z and IMO, with the new interior and engine, I would have to go with the Z, and of course, a body kit! Check out Carmax's price on the Z's as they sell them at factory invoice.

I have a G37S Coupe right now, and I am getting into a 370Z this year.
I have had two other Z's an HR and a Rev-Up and I just love the Z.
The G is awesome around town, gorgeous, and moves pretty good for its heft.
But thee is just something about the new Z that I just have to have it...
Either car is awesome, just test drive both and come to your decision.

I test drove a 370Z and I own a G37S. What the G lacks in performance, it gains in higher quality materials in the interior and refinement/amenities.
The 370Z rev-matching is AWESOME though. I wish I had it on my G. The 370Z is also the more confident performer. Those 275's on the back help a huge amount. The steering feel is also more similar to my S2000, which is amazing.

Did you test drive a 370 with the Touring package (leather/suede interior with the power/heated seats and bose stereo)??
Both nice cars IMO. Just depends on if you want a bit more refinenment (G37) or a bit more performance (370z)
And yes, the rev-match in my car is just plain awesome!!

I chose an 08 G35S Sedan over the coupe as I need 4 doors. I was planning on finding a lightly used 350z as my toy. Then came the 370Z. SO...i'm focusing on paying off the G (which I love btw), and in a year or so after any bugs have surfaced and been worked out buying the 370.
The G-coupe is definately more refined, but it's a sports coupe, not a sports car...per se.
As I am relatively new to the Nissan Infiniti family (coming from mainly EU cars) - I am impressed with overall value, performance and production quality.
You can't go wrong in ANY of the cars.
