Right on guys. I guess the only thing keeping me here is the fact I can talk to other 350/370 owners, it's just too bad more than half of you are too uptight and insecure to have a conversation about cars anymore.

racing is just about on par with a DUI as far as consequences go, and even worse if you run your car into something or someone. you won't be getting a slap on the wrist, you'll get your car impounded at your expense, you'll face possible jail time, you'll face a steep fine, you face losing your license temporarily, you face 2-3 years of sr22 insurance rates which are insane in cost.. do you need to find this out first hand?
.. and really, it's a new engine, why are you abusing it instead of breaking it in properly?
hopefully you've seen what the car is capable of, gotten it out of your system, and knock that **** off.

Thanks for the words of care, luckily I'm more than careful on the street (doesn't mean i won't turn down some fun every now and then, like everybody else) but I have not yet had the pleasure of being pulled over by the cherry tops.. You said I should break in the engine...I pain steakingly drove around for 1,500 miles before i started engaging in any spirited runs...But what's confusing is, every dealer with almost every new car claims that there is truly no break in period. Go and ask your dealer about a new car and the break in period...it was my choice to wait it out for a few weeks as i raked up the mileage, breaking in the car (at least for my own ease of mind) but they keep telling me time and time again the new engines do not need to break in like older engines do. Apparently, the only "breaking in" the engines go through is the first couple miles when the piston rings seal. This is all just according to dealerships and car manufacturer reps, but it is a swing on traditional methods on the subject. I waited anyway, as it sounds a little odd to me, but i'm not an expert so...
