As a member serving in the middle east, I owe everyone who contributed to this thread a big thankyou! This is one of the more entertaining threads I have read in a while, and reading it gave me something to do for a change. OP, I must admit I am quite the hungry reader but I am not starving, famished or malnourished, which I would have to be to want to read another one of your useless threads. Go post about your 370z on a 370z forum, and stay out of ours if all you are going to do is brag. Get lost yuppie.

Thanks for the words of care, luckily I'm more than careful on the street (doesn't mean i won't turn down some fun every now and then, like everybody else) but I have not yet had the pleasure of being pulled over by the cherry tops.. You said I should break in the engine...I pain steakingly drove around for 1,500 miles before i started engaging in any spirited runs...But what's confusing is, every dealer with almost every new car claims that there is truly no break in period. Go and ask your dealer about a new car and the break in period...it was my choice to wait it out for a few weeks as i raked up the mileage, breaking in the car (at least for my own ease of mind) but they keep telling me time and time again the new engines do not need to break in like older engines do. Apparently, the only "breaking in" the engines go through is the first couple miles when the piston rings seal. This is all just according to dealerships and car manufacturer reps, but it is a swing on traditional methods on the subject. I waited anyway, as it sounds a little odd to me, but i'm not an expert so...
that might be the case, better safe then sorry, and glad you kept the rpm's low for the first 1500 miles.
I just wanted to warn you about the consequences because I think it's a general misconception that if you are racing, you're looking at a speeding ticket or similar. you face much, much worse, and it's a gross misdemeanor that will be on your criminal history. have fun explaining that to future employers.
this isn't the first or the last time you are going to want to compare your car to another, or someone else wanting to compare their car to yours. keep safe and keep a low profile mang. go to the drag strip or auto-x when you feel the urge to drive hard.

The level of fail coming from this thread is astounding. I can no longer tell which side the fail is coming from. All this talk about NOS and no one even remembers to mention having the passenger side diamond plate floor board double riveted to prevent cabin pressure loss. Damn noobs.

I don't come around for a while and everyone else is fighting...You all must secretly hate your z's or you'd want to talk about them more then fighting with eachother and myself
