The one or RT1?

The only reason my 350z is worth **** instead of a decent amount is because there are so many damn 350's around. My car doesn't turn heads like it use to or get the comments that it use to. I don't even feel like i'm driving around an upper tier vehicle anymore simply because any chump teenager can now get their hands on one for about 13 grand.

Bums me out.
You are not driving an upper tier vehicle

Does this include the Nismo 370Z? How many of those do they usually produce per year?

it also doesn't help that most dealers... have 3 or 4 sitting on their lots because they are not willing to budge off of sticker or their dealer markup. I went to 3 or 4 dealers around Houston shopping around and they all wanted their markup or sticker price and they felt like they were doing me a favor by not marking it up. Only one Dealership that i know of has sold like 4 or 5 of them because they are selling them at invoice.

Same here. There are three dealerships in my town and they all have the same inventory from Feb. In Jan they actually sold the ones they got in but once Feb hit they haven't moved them. I'm planning on buying in June but as someone already pointed out most dealers are holding to sticker price. I'll find a dealer willing to go to invoice and then just travel to get it.

You gotta be crazy to even step into the dealerships in this town. Douglas , Desert and Planet? Crooks upon crooks. Heck you might as well do business with the J. Towbin aka The Chopper.

Unless you want to waste your time getting taken..

Out of state is your ONLY alternative..

Good!

I knew this would happen, now they can produce what is profitable at the plant and sell cars they actualy make money on.
Again people are reading way too into this, the automotive market that is out there right now has NEVER happend before, so things like this are going to happen. They need to produce what is selling, and the Z never has..

Pull production from something low profit, and make something higher in its place..very simple. Glad I ordered mine when I did 10,000 these are going to be rough to find later in the year.
Man Michigan is the worst economy in the US, and there are none to be found at dealers up here.
They are selling all the ones that come in, well locally where I am anyway.

Our Dealer says theyve sold like 7 of them, but I see the same Black one on the lot. Its fully loaded with navi, for 40k. But has a 3k markup for 'limited availability'. I dont know if theyve really sold 7 of them or not, but in an economy where people arent buying things, is marking something up 3k over a price most wouldnt pay anyways (MSRP) a smart thing to do?

Im lookin to order a Nismo once I sell my Roadster, and Ill be damned if theyre gonna charge me a markup over MSRP for something I came to them to order without them having to even try to sell me on it.

Delako,

For the Nismo especially, you are going to get some markup on it. If they are cutting production that much making these more rare, the NISMO will eb even MORE limited production. Your going to have at lease 3-5k over MSRP for one of those, at first anyway

People saying the production is being cut because the car is a turd are biased, unthinking primates who should be eating ticks off their own backs, instead of having online access to spread their stupid remarks.

"It's the economy, stupid." Plain and simple.

On the bright side, for the existing 370Z owners, this will make the car much more rare, should this cut last long enough, and potentially give the 370Z some added value in the used car market WAAAY down the road (notice I said potentially, and long term... definitely not a guarantee).

That's what I'm afraid will happen again.

The economy has something to do with it, but seriously......the 370 is ugly a ****. People don't want an ugly sports car.

I think this has more to do with the economy and less to do with the car.

I just test drove one with the sport package. It's a nice car, and I hope to put one through it's paces at the track someday. Until then, I can only say the rev-match feature is awsome. (I didn't want to beat on a car with less than 10 miles on the ODO.)

The look hasn't grown on me as much as I hoped it would, but I have never thought it was ugly either.

Yeh I'm glad there will be less of those ugly so and so's on the road. It'll be even sweet here, "you can wait 8 months for a 370z or get a M3 in 6 weeks sir".
