Default Pearl White 370z?

I'm actually debating between two very different cars, both of which do not exist in my area.

1) Pearl white 370z sport/touring with persimmon leather (no nav)
2) White Porsche Cayman S w/PDK, Sport Chrono (mainly for launch control), xenon lights

I think Pearl white with Persimmon seats is an amazing combo. I'm completely torn as to which car I should get. It would be nice to spend literally half the price for a car that's at least nearly as cool :-)

Also, I own a restaurant. Homemade food, low prices, high volume establishment. I think my customers would really start to talk if I got the porsche. So annoying.

Daily driver or not? I'm guessing no given you're in central,ny. Given that, have you driven either? which was more fun? I have not driven either car, but have also found myself comparing the two, and after pricing out found I'd much rather by a used 911 than a brand new cayman s. I found this link going into decent detail and not quite as biased as others on a comparison: http://www.motivemag.com/pub/feature...Cayman_S.shtml

Given price differences, starting around 20k less is the 370z i think that would win out... start adding anything to the cayman, and you may as well just go get a 911, maybe not a brand new one but certainly something I could justify spending the money for a porsche vs nissan on.

I test drove a Cayman S last year, been in a Cayman S with PDK this year, and test drove a 370z as well. The 370z was fun but I felt disconnected. The porsche just seemed to much more precise. I could feel the road with the Cayman S. I never thought of a used 911...hmm.

Purchased a Pearl White 370Z last night.

Also drove a Cayman S for a few days while shopping around.

The Cayman S is very, very, much a large step up from the 370Z. If you don't plan to mod the 370Z, and plan to keep the car for a while, and also don't mind the $15k or so more you're going to pay for the Cayman, it's a no-brainer.

Congrats dude. Nice color choice.

Well, the 370z I want with the Sport Package, and Touring Package (sans navi) will be about $38K after tax. The Cayman S with PDK and Sport Chrono is actually about $67k after tax. I've priced both cars at slightly above invoice using Edmunds.com TMV service. That's a $29K difference in price. If it was only a difference in $15k I'd own the car right now. :-)

Hah, wow, you really went out of your way to investigate nothing. The fact of the matter was I changed my mind and decided to wait a year. It's summertime and it's the only time I can drive a sports car in my area, so I'm back in the market again.

I'm down to either the Cayman S or 370z.

That's a pretty sweet deal. But if I'm getting a Cayman, I'm getting PDK and launch control. :-)
