Opportunity to run against a GT Mustang!
Those mustangs are fast in a straight with very simple bolt-ons. If you owned one, then you exactly know what Im saying.

Yes Ive seen the videos of 370z's running bottom 13's, but the funny thing is, I NEVER seen a stock 370z break 13's here. So when I see those videos it amazes me.

Go to the 370 z forum drag section. I ran a 12.8009 @ 110.33 with bolt ons. Almost a 12.7 pass, Its 7 AT. on 19 inch factory tires.

as close to stock as possible? Tire and brake upgrades are fine then I assume? Shelby gt just comes with suspension upgrades from the factory? Its still a gt. You might want to get more specific about what "close to stock means." There are a lot of options on mustangs including gears, dampers, swaybars. I'm sure my car wouldn't count as close to stock to you but then again i already know what my stang does to Zs on the road course.

well they found no 370 which i think is fine as we are comparing about same year mustang, only thing i see as a disadvantage for the z (dont know the mods on the z) but its a shelby mustang... 500hp vs 30Xhp if theres mods on the car? ehhh could get messy...

Do not believe it is a real GT500, the owner just calls his car a Shelby GT. Probably some body kits pieces with some minor upgrades from Shelby.
