2. good driver, can be seen by the lines you take vs. his, but that's not all - you can see at the very end on the straight he doesn't pull away, on the contrary you reel him in. Now that's hard to explain, except that everyone assumes the 350 is a slow pos compared to a 370, which is clearly the opposite.

was he running on GTR wheels?

Cars are about equal in weight, but the DE has the edge vs the Z34s HP.

When I finally made the pass in T11, you can see he tightened up the wheel too quickly, and the car stepped out a little bit. I was noticing I had more oomph coming out of the turns, and was lucky that on that turn I sandbagged a touch to get a run on him. Combining that with his oopsie gave me a decent head of steam to get side-by-side to him. He was on GTR wheels with big R888 tires, so grip should have been comparable. The driver is very good, but I believe I did have an edge on him on that day as 350zsun said per the lines. You paid to use the entire track, so use it!

Yea the r888 gtr tires are very grippy, hell he could run with VDC off and not brake traction on those, depends on what tires you were running on but it seems like he had the grip advantage as well!

Good video regardless, just wish there was no song and just engine sounds

I was probably on RA1s, so similar in grip just smaller in size.

Yeah, this was before I was taking my own video so I borrowed a friend's camera, then he "dubbed it". Argh.
