Default Project 370z

http://nissannews.com/newsrelease.do...elping&mid=184

Seems to me that Nissan is actually letting us Z owners contribute to the new Project 370z. They finally took a hint in improving the platform. Read a bit more and it also looks like Nissan is deciding between a supercharger and turbo system for the vq37hr motor along with some other tweaks in the Z's suspension, brakes, and etc.

I think we all want to know what's coming in the future Z. I really do hope we can see a f/i engine this time around. It's been way over due since the 2013 Z is barely changed at all.

"The goal of the project is to utilize the passion and knowledge of Nissan Z® fans online to help direct the creation of a unique, one-off Nissan 370Z utilizing readily available aftermarket parts and accessories. Fans will vote on potential modifications and follow along with the progress online through facebook.com/nissanperformance."

Maybe I'm mis-reading but I don't think the input is for the future Zs. This is just for a one-off car for ZDayZ.

370z is falling behind mustang. Nissan needs v8 or turbo Z to keep up.

Or a lighter chasis!

This isn't for the future...

Is this where enthusiasts beg for forced induction then whine about the cost?

Per Graham Hobbs: "The final result of the Nissan 'Project 370Z' will be revealed to the public for the 1st time at ZDayZ 2012."

Glad I'll be there!

If you don't have the money, you can't afford f/i. Atleast, even if Nissan did put in a boosted motor for the next Z, the customers would get warranty for it.
