Thinking of trading in my 350z for 370z.
I called the same dealership that I purchased my 350z from and asked them how much they would give me for my current Z. Surprisingly they offered me around 20k -22k. I thought to myself maybe it’s not such bad idea to upgrade. I just wanted your guy's opinion. Should I go for it?

If you own your current Z. (IE: no lien on it) Sure..Tho imo a private sale could net you a bit more. As dealers never put their customers interest 1st.
If you do have an outstanding loan on the 350? Unless you want to join the countless other upside-down loan suckers.. Nope.

Keep it. Not much difference in performance and your car is paid off, unless you like how the 370Z looks over it and/or just want a new car. Otherwise, it's just spending more money.

I went to the dealership to get an alignment and in the showroom they have a 370Z Nismo, a 370Z 40th Anniversary, and a GTR
Now, I have to admit that if they were giving away cars, I would take the GTR based on performance and price, but I was a multimillionaire, then I think I would have picked up the 370Z Nismo as my daily driver.
That car is beautiful but if I were spending $40K, I think I would go differently

I also traded up to a 370 from an 05 350. There was a noticeable difference in performance. From an 08 it may not be as noticeable straight line wise, but it will be with grip, braking, handling, interior quality, and the biggest plus I think is, exclusivity!
Honestly, if I had a paid off 08 I doubt I would get the 370, but I had a paid off 05 and it made perfect sense for me

Biggest changes are interior upgrades, tranny and new body style. If you dislike these things in your current Z and feel it's worth the extra moolah, then go for it.
Go test drive it and see what you think. Might love or hate it.
