hay guys,

will as you all know nissan announced the new 2013 370z, and as far as the specs go, they updated the brakes, as will as the looks here is a few pix.




there is no updated looks for the nismo version.
but here is my question: did they fix the throttle lag issue or not?
if you guys know anything about it let me know.

Yup, saw a couple parked in front of my local dealership last week.

 

and they are ugly as fug.. the new bumper killed it

 

My local Nissan stealership has a 2013 370z in that hideous "cherry" color, every time i see someone look at it they realize it isn't black and walk away, such a weird color. They should have brought back brickyard...

 

lies! the new one isn't a home run or anything but getting rid of the fangs was a great move imo.

the nismo front bumper is gorgeous. I wish they would have made it closer to that.

 

Still not a fan of the styling, but I prefer this than the first model years. The blue with red calipers look good IMO.

Local dealership has a silver one. There's no way I would give my 350 up for those atrocities.

 

What's wrong with them? They are lighter and faster and handle better. I don't see it being an atrocity. If my Z was stock I would gladly trade up.

 

The spec's are great but the exterior is horrible. I feel like the 370Z was rushed as for as looks go, I mean really... who want's to drive a catfish around town?

 

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We'll just agree to disagree, I think it looks good.

 

will guys, when it comes to looks it's a matter of love it or hate it. I do hate the new styling though. I did drive one and it's a great car as far as handling, and performance. the only issue this car has is the throttle lag/delay. I've seen how bad it is. I'm waiting for them to resolve that. If I'm upgrading I'm going with the g37s if they fix this issue, if not then I'll move to a deferent platform.

I didnt think it could get uglier but nissan has accomplished that, reason the Nismo Z34 looks good is because it looks closer to a Z33. Just my opinion of course

 

Never heard of that, did you ask about it during your test drive? Kind of odd since 350's are also drive by wire.

 

That doesn't make sense. You know the above is a Z34 ha.

 

Lol of course I know that . I guess you didn't understand what I meant to say which was , I didn't think the 370 could be uglier but with the 2013 coming out I was proven wrong . And as for people liking the nismo 370 its because it looks closer to the nismo 350

 

Well, its def a step in the right direction. The car looks a little less hideous. That bumper does wonders. They should have just scrapped it altogether and made a new car on a new platform but lets be honest, thats just wishful thinking. They make aftermarket bumpers for the 370 so theres some hope, I mean I think the NISMO looks great, just doesn't really perform. :-(
