Default Curb Weights

Curious if any one has actually scaled their own 370? Trying to figure out if their heavier or lighter than 350z HR.

I weighed my HR in @ 3186 no driver, no spare, and half of a quarter tank of gas

Why not just look up the stock curb weights and compare

They claimed the 370 to be lighter than a 350, this is based on the weight of an HR 350.

According to the TARE weight I have in the January 2010 370 brochure I have it is the following;
1495kgs 6-speed manual - coupe
1510kgs 7-speed tiptronic - coupe
1555kgs 6-speed manual - roadster
1565kgs 7-speed tiptronic - coupe

I can't remember the exact weight of the HR 350, but the earliest model DE in the spec we have over here in NZ was 1467kgs for the coupe. HR was roughly about 100kgs heavier with extra strengthening etc.

ps. The weights really only matter if you are doing something serious like racing. Well in my opinion anyway.

Full tank of gas is around 120lbs. You had half of a quarter. Spare tire is probably 25-35lbs. 3186+155 = 3341

For a DD/occasional autox, I can notice starting from 150lbs. Meaning my wife is safe...and it better stay that way.

Agreed you 100% can, but as you say, very much depending on the driver.

I was 3356 fully fueled bone stock with a sport package with no options except floor mats and splash guards and 6mt 2013. Was down to 3083 fully fueled but I've added some weight back with diff cooler/pump, soon to be oil cooler, rear roll cage etc. goal will be sub 3000.
