I came across something today that really hurt my heart. The "pride" the Nissan took to do this fan build and all the effort with the voting, the videos, and sponsorships...cannot believe it has come to this just 4 years later.
I guess I would have thought this Z would have been stored somewhere and at least some what maintained. But I the reality of it is...it was a marketing tool that served it's purpose and is expendable.
Or maybe Nissan is bringing back to life. Maybe a new wrap to wrap the current shart looking one. Maybe their going to fix the front fascia where it looks like somebody ran into something and bowed it out at the fender. Maybe they're going to fix the curb rash on all 4 wheels (not pictured). Just maybe....but highly unlikely.
Maybe it's just me, but I would have expected a little more from Nissan marketing department on the life this vehicle would have.
If you don't know what this vehicle is, just watch the final video made that is an overview of the reason why it was built. (

My whole point is, if you're not going to get a **** about the car, give it someone who would appreciate it and drive it. Don't just let it fade away for no reason. I've been a Nissan fan my whole life and grew up just down from the manufacturing plant here in TN. It just frustrates me that something I care about is not getting at least the minimal attention it deserves.
I know exactly how you feel. I was pissed when Sebastian Vettel blew up his Ferrari's engine at the start of the Bahrain GP last weekend. He should just give the car to me, because I'll take better care of it.
Dumbest thread in quite a while.

High hopes for Ferrari but hey, Kimi Raikkonnen broke up the Benz podium party and....
SO STOKED for HAAS F1!!! First two races and in the points!!! A very respectable 5th in Bahrain! U.S. F1 is back!!!!!
Ooops, unintentional thread derail....
I'm also very impressed by Haas and Grosjean. He was dangerous as a rookie, but he's been doing a great job and I'm sure he has much to do with their success, and the help from Ferrari doesn't hurt, either.
Ferrari gave away Australia with their poor tire choice for Vettel, and their dumb strategic moves hurt them several times last year, too. This year they have the car, but they need to use their heads more.

Offer to buy it off the guy then. "Restore" it to your liking.
You wanna see bad look at my project car. Pristine roadster, 45k miles, full body clear bra perfect inside and out and so much more.
Then the kid/guy who had it before me, cigarillo wrapper trash all in the interior (I found 56 in total), interior smells like smoke, oil was black as night, belts were about split, soda all over the place and wrecks it from Im sure tons of stupid driving.
This was a hell of a Z before the 2nd owner before me got ahold of it... But then again thanks to him I have it as my project car.
