Hi I知 16 and I知 saving my money for a 350z
As you saw I知 16 and don稚 have much car experience other than rebuilding a go kart engine with after market parts. But I知 saving my money for a 350z and I want to turbo it and learn how ever thing works and how to fix things, and I want to understand things about it. Does anyone have any tips and what I should do?

16, so I presume high school. Does your school have an auto shop/class? If not, look at community colleges and other courses available.
It's good you're interested in learning as I find that so many people these days don't understand the fundamentals and theories associated with a proper build or even maintenance and troubleshooting. Get the groundwork/foundation done first. It will help all the way through life with cars. Even if you drive a basic commuter, good to know what's going with it.
Another thing, while you're learning and if this is a serious hobby, you might want to get a part time job at an auto parts or repair shop. Do the grunt work and learn about all the parts and repairs. I started college at 16, got bored and got into the industry (for five years) at that time before going back to college. All the stuff in car magazines I'd read since I was 8 finally started to make sense once I started actually doing the parts gig for a chain store then Datsun. But I was pretty much "into cars" that working in industry wasn't a job, it was my life.
In any event, never hurts to get your hands dirty and if you have friends into cars, hang out, listen, learn. Good luck!

Then don't blow it up.
I taught myself to turbo vehicles. I've done 3 so far and haven't blown any up. one was a 2001 kia sephia 5psi, 1993 wrangler 10psi and a 2003 350z 7psi currently
run low boost and don't push your luck

OP, keep in mind I am a sarcastic ***, but an honest one
at 16 I doubt you will be able to handle the power of a stock 350z with minimal your driving experience, let alone the finances to make it happen. you would have to determine the health of the motor before you do anything FI related. I would say buy one, get used to the car, then do suspension mods if you just have to do something to it

They love to burn oil, kill cats, interior can deteriorate quickly and the urge to drift can make you default on the "clean title". Not saying you will wreck but anyone can tell you you will get into one by the time you're double that age. I would hate for the Z to be the car I polish those skills in.
For the rest, do your best at keeping an open mind, inform yourself in forums first and search properly. Being that the VQ engine is pretty old it helps with folks pointing you in the right direction, fanatics have the tendency of overhyping things so thread carefully.
Example: Folks spending some nice money on bolt ons but afraid of tuning. Doing a temporary fix on something the world knows would end up being permanent. Lastly modifying a daily with it being your only ride, especially after a YT video or friend who has tools and willing to wrench.
stay away from eBay there's nothing but **** on there and fraudulent listings
I recommend buying a DE like a '03 to '06, but if you want to go for a more complex engine then 07,08 HR. I'm a fan of the early DE engine and think it's the best place to start for learning because it's simpler.
find a lower mileage car if possible. you might get a high mileage one for steep discount but there are all kinds of things that go wrong besides just the engine / drivetrain. All the little things are damned annoying!
Don't go turbo too soon. learn the car first. do Autox and HPDE for a couple years. you would be shocked at how much you'll learn about driving doing an HPDE a few times. it increases your everyday driving skill enormously. you'll start to look at people around you on the road and laugh at their stupidity and their shitty driving after just a few events on the track. it is excellent for your skills.
you don't need mad power to have fun in a 350Z. these cars are great when you focus on the suspension, and pretty much leave the engine alone. Don't work on the engine first. do everything else first. really you don't need much more than 300 HP. unless you're building a drag racer?
plan on spending at least a year upgrading the car. and you won't know what to upgrade unless you go to the track. That's why that is so important. do the events and you'll see where your car needs improvement. and you'll find very quickly that the engine is the least of your concerns. being able to corner like mad is way more important.
