damn, that sucks. This is the reason why I make sure my gas tank is near empty when I bring my Z in for a service.

I don't think dealer employees care about drag racing someone's 350Z. They wanted a real car which is why they used GTR's.

My guess is one used launch control and the other didn't. Probably comparing the difference between using it and not using it. Although 12.5 seems rather slow for launch control.

No, no . This is perfectly normal. All new GTRs are delivered with a time slip to prove their track-rediness.
