Arrow Help Needed, Much Appreciated...

Hi,

I was gonna go for the GT-R's Sunline GT-Spec Front Pipe, just the pipe, my questions are:

1. Will I need to modify/alter/touch my ECU after doing this direct bolt

2. Will This alarm the sensors in anyway (check engine light/dash warnings ect. )

3. Possible negative side effects on engine from free flow?

Thanking you all in advance...

Peace...

Default Looking for more Mid-pipe info

Hi guys - following up on this thread.

I am considering the HKS Kansai Service (Front Pipe, Stainless Steel Straight, Resonated, No Catalytic Converter). Will this require reflash or trigger any messages and lights? I assume that this can be inserted prior to the final exhaust system fairly simply (by the mechanic who knows what they are doing - not by me).

I am also considering a Cobb Accessport once the exhuast is done - has any one had any experience with this? Silly question here but will using the Accessport void the warranty?

Got it on the exhaust - was not sure if same...but any comments on the Cobb Accessport (will this cause warrenty concerns)?

Only if something goes wrong and only if it contributes to the failure.

Hey Nitrouz - love the list of mods.

I notice that you went with the HKS Kansai mid-pipe but not the COBB port that I was asking about (which many people do as the next step). Is this due to warrenty concerns, other reasons, or is that the 2 second phase of the upgrade to come?
