Nitrouz: Stage One complete
The first stage of my modifications are complete. This stage, I call:
"Soul Searching".
As many/all of you know, my first review of the GTR was not too impressive. You can see it here: https://my350z.com/forum/2009-nissan...eview-gtr.html
The car is fast, but not quite fast enough. It's fast enough for the street, but not "exhiliarating". But unfortunately due to warranty issues, I won't be upping the boost just yet. Other than that, the car basically lacked SOUL. It's fast, it's deadly, but it's quiet and does not play its part as a "Supercar".
I've made some initial mild modifications so far, to give it the soul it really has, without compromising the identity of the vehicle. Those of you who have followed my build on my previous 350Z, you know that I like them subtle, yet different. With a lot of "soul".
After this initial stage, I'm happy with the car. It's not too quiet, not too loud. Not too high, not too low. Not too conservative, not too aggressive. In my opinion of course, it's just right for a mildly-modded daily-driven supercar.
Here are the modifications so far done to the vehicle:
Volk GT30 "Nitrouz Edition"
20x9.5 +23
20x10.5 +24
OEM Bridgestone RE070 tires
255/40/20
285/35/20
Project Kics 20mm spacers (rear)
Rear windows tinted 20%
Front side windows tinted 35%
JDM Front Clear Sidemarkers
8000K HID low beam bulbs

HKS Hard Pipes
HKS Dual Blow Off Valves
