The cars are stock cars as in 'how they were purchased'. There is no argument you can make about who developed the cars.

The GT-R was slow on take off by over a car, PASSED THE VIPER, then HIT the brakes 3 seconds before the line. It was the faster car by far. So yes it did win.

Please post up the MSRP from Cobb for the GTR shown in the video since you are so insistent on comparing the two vehicles .

At LimeRock I ran nearly 30 seconds faster than a 2004 911 TT, in my E30 ITS car. On those laps, I was the faster car. No matter that the guy running his 911 was babying it in the turns and only going full throttle on the straights, and I had my pro license at the time. Always gotta remember to put things into perspective. In the end, the answers to e-racing all depends on who you ask But, was I really the faster car?

what's amazing is that people can't just have fun with this stuff, they have to turn it into some high and mighty pissing contest

edit - for anyone keeping score, the Viper ACR is built at the same plant the "normal" Viper is built (Connor's). It's sent out to Prefix for the aero work and the stripe (actually I think Prefix does all the striping work for Dodge on the Viper, so does that mean any equipped with stripes aren't really Dodge's, regardless if they are ACR's or not? Hmmmm. I digress

Tbh, 1/4 times don't really matter to me. It's just hilarious to read the outright BS that SOLO spews forth. He has managed to redefine what Stock means and according to him, the Cobb upgrade to the GT-R only provides minimal performance gains.

A drag contest between these two cars is pointless though, as they are mainly road course monsters by design.

I will say one thing though, the more and more I see the ACR, the more I like it. 100% brutal & raw in appearance and performance.
