Awwww spoken like a true douche bag. Funny, I never said the Cobb upgrade was minimal performance gains.

Yep, 1/4 is worthless. Reason why I bought my NISMO for Road Course events where it see's a lot of.

A drag contest between these two cars is pointless though, as they are mainly road course monsters by design.

Intelligent people are aware of the truth.

I will say one thing though, the more and more I see the ACR, the more I like it. 100% brutal & raw in appearance and performance.

Which is why you posted...

with almost no mods
Kind of misleading, considering the unit can give up to 70hp/90tq (mfr's claim).

Do you have any idea what mods the car has? Last I heard it wasn't even a Cobb car and saying Cobb was supposedly not true. Cobb only owns a White GT-R so this is a owners car possibly with Cobb tuning.

Umm, the Cobb tuning module is what I was referencing... http://www.cobbtuning.com/products/?id=3853

You are thick headed... Let's not forget this gem of a thread you were involved in... https://my350z.com/forum/drag/299729...-02-vette.html
Can't teach an old dog new tricks, I guess.

Nah, just people like yourself are trolls. Guess one of these days the mods will be smart to ban your *** instead of any topic with a american car in it you must come praise the vette.

This site use to be so nice before all these newbies came a few years ago and destroyed it.

Changing subjects again? You always seem to do that when proven in the wrong. At least you're consistent...

mmc racing yes i would take a 911 over a z06 and a gtr any day of the week the car is definitely better looking for the price which is what i meant by my comment. i meant nothing about performance because i know that a gtr is smashingly fast as well as the zr-1 and z06, but when i choose a car i dont choose it on the basis oh ya this car is faster than that etc. i want something that is fun to drive, i love to look at every day and others look at it and lust over it, and that is very comfortable. this is all my opinion and my thoughts not for argumentative purposes.

That you have a gtr i give you massive props i hope i could own any of those cars someday or something comparable because i am just a college student with a z which i think is a pretty good car for where i am at. anyways this thread got out of control quite fast haha so im out enjoy your gtr.

.
You live in California so you know regular 911's are as common as BMW 3 series on the road.. I don't know many that lust after them or even pay them much attention anymore. When I drive the GT-R around, it gets a ridiculous amount of attention. I've had people do U-turns and follow me onto off ramps just to snap a picture of the car or give a thumbs up. I have never cared about what other people thought about my cars so all the attention is a little embarrassing.

Corvettes are the same way - they are all over the place. Vipers are very rare and draw a lot of attention along with the more exotic cars.

that's what makes e-racing so goddamn cool -and why only the coolest of the cool people do it.

At LimeRock I ran nearly 30 seconds faster than a 2004 911 TT, in my E30 ITS car. On those laps, I was the faster car. No matter that the guy running his 911 was babying it in the turns and only going full throttle on the straights, and I had my pro license at the time. Always gotta remember to put things into perspective. In the end, the answers to e-racing all depends on who you ask But, was I really the faster car?

what's amazing is that people can't just have fun with this stuff, they have to turn it into some high and mighty pissing contest

so let's e race some more!!

edit - for anyone keeping score, the Viper ACR is built at the same plant the "normal" Viper is built (Connor's). It's sent out to Prefix for the aero work and the stripe (actually I think Prefix does all the striping work for Dodge on the Viper, so does that mean any equipped with stripes aren't really Dodge's, regardless if they are ACR's or not? Hmmmm. I digress
I understand your point, but I was comparing the cars sans driver variable, and judged by all comparisons magazines have performed and the raw stats of each car.

How about the ZR1 against the P800 GTR? I know you GM lovers out their are probably going to cry and come back by saying that this car is heavily modded and the horsepower and torque numbers don't match. Well, the 2009+ GTR has about 480 horsepower and 430 lbs of torque while the ZR1 has a supercharged LS9 6.2L V8 with 620 horsepower and 595 lbs of torque and the GTR gives the ZR1 a run for its money despite the 100+ difference in horsepower and torque. Now, lets see how this supposed ZR1 beast would fair against the P800 GTR. Observe please:
