If I had a GT-R and $15,000, I'd put it in saving to pay for that shiny new $20,000 transmission.

 

Too many lines. +1 on saving the 15k for the next scheduled service.

 

Just save it for upcoming services. You'll probably need that much to own gtr for several years anyway.

 

15K for a body kit

You can get a used Z for that much.

 

There is only one Kit in America and to get a kit you are going to have to pay a hell of a lot more than $15K. Oh by the way, you guys are way off on the price of stuff for GT-R (I have one and it does not cost that much for replacement parts etc.; really good place to get info on the GT-R, maintenance and modifications is www.nagtroc.org)

The only kit currently in America is on the Laker's Andrew Bynum's GT-R and he paid a lot more than $15K to get his Wald kit dropped shipped to Platinum from Japan (through Walds' Exclusive Distributor Jonari www.jonari.com) FYI -- They make a full carbon fiber version which can be made to order for $30K -- but that is stupid.
