True, but you missed the enclosed part. How you going to hide the dead hookers if you see right through the rear glass on the Vette?

Thats why the C5Z is better. Dead hooker hiding area included.

When you buy a GTR, you can pride yourself in your newly acquired head-turning abilities. :P

The zo6 has a cloth cover so people can not see what you have in the trunk.

2 completely different monsters. It comes down to a matter of preference.

I C, so we need to make sure the hooker is at the very least knocked out so she isn't putting bulges into the cover that outsiders can see.

It can get tiresome sometimes.

The enthusiast community for vettes is unreal. I'd say we have a pretty strong one for Zs, but it is nothing compared to the vette guys. Something to consider.

Also, I got to see a C6 Z06 in action when I was running out at the road course in Buttonwillow, very impressive. Made a novice driver seem like a superhero.

Also, consider that there will be a good deal of "collector value" in what could quite possibly be the last generation of corvettes. GM isn't exactly in the position to be churning out halo cars.

Now, all of that said, I'd choose the GTR. I jimp every time I see one.

6-speed standard transmission > paddle shifters
V8 > V6
RWD > AWD

I could go on and on, but in short, Z06 > GTR

Honestly, the only thing the Z06 has on the GT-R is the exterior looks. The interior of the 06+ Z is better than the vette IMHO. I love the way the C6Z06 looks when its lowered on some black wheels. Okay, and the exhaust sound, I havn't heard too many aftermarket GT-Rs but Z06 and generally all vettes sound great with an exhaust. I like the GT-R because its just a better overall car, its faster in corners, quicker off the line, and does so much more. Really, just sit in the GT-R and then the Z06, the difference is easy to see.

Funny coming from you, who has gone sideways a couple more times than one would want.

You should stick to AWD.

but going sideways is so much fun

Nah, my case was I simply got lazy. The car was in storage for a while and I got used to driving my top heavy old a$$ chevy blazer. Got in the Viper, simply got lazy in the turns and gave it to much gas. Overall Id say RWD is much better as far as Z06 and GTR caliber cars are concerned. But thats just me

I've read that at max boost the turbos in the GTR are boosting at 17.8psi. So I'd say without the turbos the GTR's HP numbers would plummet.

I'll try and find the article where I read it. Not sure if it's true or not. Was just saying that's what I've read.

Sharif told me he turned boost from 16 to 19 psi at the airstrip on his white GTR. I could tell something happened, because I won the first race and lost the rest.

370Z is what 332 hp? So figure it would be around 340 hp for the GT-R?

Standard GT-R would be around 12 psi peak or so, not a whole lot.
