5+ hrs or $500 in labor is insane by even the most insane standards.
Forget the Nissan fluids.
Go Motul 75-140 which is $28/qt. Willall Transmission Fluid is $730 for 10 Liters, and lasts at least twice as long under extreme use.
Overall, the dealer raped this customer....shame.

Here's a theory on why (i came up with):
Nissan employees are so busy gawking and fathoming at the awesome power of the gtr holds that they repetitively spill, break, and incorrectly install items so one quick 15 min job takes 18 hours and costs 500 bucks for labor, and they have to increase the price to cover the cost of all the broken ****.
imo DIY is always the way to go, unless you are worried about a semi non existent warranty, which wont cover the tranny going bad anyway.
Think about it. You are supposedly at fault for breaking the tranny. Well if you installed everything correctly and put in the correct lube then it would have happened anyway after the dealer did it. You won't be covered by warranty in both cases (most likely, but you may get extremely lucky, or my logic is flawed). So pick your poison. Besides what ever happened to the BAMF wrenching on your car?
