They are OEM, just have the heat decals on them so you can have an idea of where the calipers are at heat wise while at the track.

Because they likely deleted the stock trunk release motor and latch to save a bit of complication and weight. I have pins on my hatch on my Z and deleted the other stuff as well. Fairly common for track cars.

I too noticed the trunk latches and thought it was unique.

Lol man that's too much money, too many aerocatch latches, and that gtr doesn't look that great. For the money, you can buy a new gtr, mod it and add tasteful exterior additions with enough money left to be able afford taking your newly found gold digging girlfriends out!

Nominated for fail post of the day.

You do realize this is the club version of the car.....this is a track car. I doubt it will even be legal in Japan for street duty. It comes equipped with full face dunlop slicks, roll-cage, and harnesses. My guess is there will be a spec racing series for these cars over there.

Oh I read it lol, but for 50k of a difference between a stock gtr and this one, you can turn a gtr into a monster that will destroy this. Your paying so much extra to race twice, against people who are going to have the same gtr as you....if that's your cup of tea then that's cool, to each his own!

It's all good, I don't think any of us can afford it anyway.

^Sick car but it's apples and oranges homesizzle.

This GT-R is really to support the track club and not meant for street use.

I think its like apples to apples with some gooey caremel.

Although the GT Malan isn't a Club car, its pretty much a purpose built track car with a catalytic converter. It comes with all the track goodies (fully adjustable Koni's, Brembo Racing Brakes, Cage, etc.) Just slap some on some slicks and its good to go. On street tires it pulls 1.05 lateral g's and accelerates to 60 in 2.9seconds. Plus it only weights 2350 pounds. I need one bad.

I see you saw Battle of the Supercars, so you're probably psyched on it.

There are plenty of cars that have better performance for the value then this edition GT-R but again this is a track-focused car with nearly no interior and most of the passenger comforts taken away. Again this is for the specific track club in Japan-only so the comparison is worthless.
