True, but you don't know if these pics were taken the morning it happened.

that little surface rust is nothing. i regularly get that on my stock brembos from the car sitting overnight from dew. would also have the same exact thing happen to my STi i had before the Z. it all comes off as soon as ya ease on the brakes. im surprised that no one else has chimed in on this

I hear ya bro. But I too have had aftermarket setups. My Z comes to mind: StopTech 14" Cross-Drilled rotors that didn't rust unless it rained or got water on them. Not from just sitting a few days.
maybe cause mine was garaged? Or I guess in a very humid environment.

And yeah it's no biggie since they are iron and easily shine up with the push of a brake.

Im with some of the guys here .. what he think he was gonna be the s**t buying a GT-R and then live in an apartment. Way to set your priorities straight lol. Hopefully he was visiting or something. Can u imagine the guy picking up a hot chick who is a gold digger and is ready to give him the dirtiest sex ever till he pulls into his little apartment complex =) lol nice try.

I remember this thread. If I remember the story correctly the owner drove his GTR to his GF's apartment complex and stayed the night. This is what he woke up to in the morning.
