is the gtr limited in power and speed on the streets in USA and GPS unlocked in power and speed when sensed on a race track?

I believe that is only for Japan, with their government limiting the OEM cars to 111 mph. The article/site below mentioned a 156mph limiter for US cars but I'ver never heard of a confirmation.

It's only in japan. I found that out from Top Gear UK. Pretty interesting though.
