LeMans Sunset
Finally got tires for my new-still-in-the-box NISMO 19's I scored this past winter! Tried to capture the sunset with my LeMans and new 19's (I wish I had more of a "camera eye").

No, its a flat red. Dam, my digital camera has a few years on it I know, but I didn't think it suck3d that bad! LOL! Old camera, poor angle, poor lighting, zero "camera eye", all of the above -- take your pick.
I see the red color a little more since you pointed it out.
By the way, I actually like the angles you used for the photoshoot. There's a few things that could be cleaned up but an overall good job. Although, I disagree with Pam about the fender pieces. I like the overall theme of your ride except the accent strips on the fenders. They are reminiscent of Adidas shoes to me. I think of the car more as a sneaker than as it should be- a sleek Lemans Z. Have you thought about Nismo pin-striping instead?

damnit dude, your car looks good. the reason I say damnit was I questioned doing that *exact* set up, minus the two stripes (which I think look good), but decided against it for some reason, thinking I might out grow it or dislike the two tone.
Geez, I wish I had as much money to spend on my car as you guys do. I just purchased a stock LS 350z a couple months ago. My tires are completely shot and I wanted to get wheels before tires, but since it's now summer there is no way that's happening :/ Nice looking cars everybody, LS is my second favorite color next to black, but it definitely more unique.
JGURU - Adidas has 3 stripes and last I knew I couldn't buy NISMO pinstripes for $6.
JK. Seriously tho, I appreciate your tactfulness and therefore appreciate your opinion. Believe me, you are among the majority, but I like my shark-gill racing stripes and I have so many car projects and so much I want to do to them all that even dropping what NISMO wants for their pinstripes would be money better spent towards performance, tuning or elsewhere. Besides, so many have played the NISMO pinstripes and I have thought about it but I didn't think it would look as good on LMS as they do with a silver or black Z.
I am all about the track, road course racing series and I live on Speed TV I think.
Thanks for your input and thank you to the others who said they liked them.
But this is a thread about LMS...

More action...

Thanks BRONZEE!
We all have to lay our own two stripes on the blacktop. The question is: how heavily traveled is the road?
To know me, especially you being from that part of the globe, if you put a "Mark" in front of my screen name you would know one of my all-time favorite drivers and racing series. I would love to see Bathurst 1000 -- one of these years...

Aussie is only a few hours flight, but never been to Bathhurst, but always watch it on tv though.
No relation, just really like V8Supercars and the heritage of that racing series and appreciate (envy) Skaife's skill along with drivers like Brock (back in the day), Whincup, Tander, and the Kelly brothers.
Although for years we would only get here in the States on Speed channel a delayed broadcast in compressed format (all racing for two rounds in one hour show) for a couple weeks in December and January; sadly, this year Speed stopped doing that and I didn't get to see any of the 08 season.
Of course I love F1, ALMS, Rolex Sport Car Series, pretty much any road course racing series (you name it)
, but that is another thing entirely and this is an LMS Z thread, so back on topic...

Thanks for the education. Your car reminds me of a race car...
Oh, and to address the issue of staying on topic, post up a LS pic in each post

This is my Z with the new (well, purchased in 2005, just now installed) headlight overlays from Blue Batmobile.
