Default TT Roadster

I put an APS TT on my roadster and now have 404 HP to the wheels. A race track instructor drove it and said that this car has entirely too much power for a convertible. Was he kidding or can an open top car really have too much power?

Ferreri and Lambo's both have open top cars. So to say a roadster can have to much power thats crazy talk

He must have been kidding. In response to the "too much power for an open top car," you can respond with any of these words:

Carrol Shelby
Cobra
Viper

Can you Post your Mods
I would like to do the same with My Roadster....

I was thinking of putting the Stillen SuperCharger with InterCooler but it'll only give 300HP @Wheels....

I'm sure thats' enough, but it won't hurt to have
a little over 400HP @Wheels

The engine is still stock internals (boost 7psi) but I have Nismo exhaust, Helix test pipes, Tein flex suspension with EDFC, Nismo wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport tires. I plan on doing forged internals and cam next year.

so you have a APS Twin Turbo with Stock Internals, Exhausts, and you have atLeast 400HP @the Wheels?????

is that possible?

Stillen SuperCharger has been dyno'd @ only 300wHP....

also, is the APS TT good for a Daily commuter car?

turbo Lag?

I drive my roadster as a daily driver and it drives like a stock car until you put your foot on the gas and then it jumps up to hyper speed in nothing flat. Here is a pic of the dyn test results showing before TT and post TT results.

My Roadster is a 5AT (automatic TipTronic)
is the APS TwinTurbo considerable for the Auto Tranny.

I plan on not changing the internals.....
I'm going to add Stillen Exhaust, and Intake.

Check out the FI forum on this board. There has been considerable discussion about the APS kit for the past 6 months. All your questions can be answered by reading over these threads.

please list......thanks

rclab1-
MRC Motorsports in NJ isn't all that far away. I don't have an APS dealer within 700 miles.

Zcool-
He may have been suggesting that all that power was going to twist the frame:-)
